Overview:
    The Imp ULM-2P is an upgrade to the 1P using Clantech components, allowing it to combine the
    roles of the 1P and 1R into one while also increasing its firepower. It would go on to
    replace both the 1P and 1R in the Republic of the Sphere military, and later would be
    adopted by the Free Worlds League after they reclaimed Irian.

Capabilities:
    The advanced electronics of the 2P is a single Watchdog CEWS, allowing it to mount both an
    Active Probe and an ECM Suite without having to forego all weapons. It also uses a Magna 60
    XXL engine for increased mobility, and retains Jump Jets as well.
    
    As for its armament, two IS-grade ER Small Lasers and two Micro Pulse Lasers provide it with
    increased close-in punch so it can more effectively defend itself. Some consider it
    sufficient to use as a dual-role striker, but this is discouraged by Irian as the armor was
    not increased. Nevertheless it can prove to have more bite than one would expect for a
    10-ton machine.
