This earns a big fat "0" not so much for its performance, but because the Commando IIC is, IMO, one of the worst offenders against consistency in the BT universe.
A) how can the Clans have a version of this, when the Commando is explicitly a Lyran mech which the house kept from the Star League at all costs? Had the IIC been a new development along the lines of the Jenner IIC, I may still have been able to suspend my disbelief...
B) But even then: Clan Goliath Scorpion? The Clan infamous for its disdain of missile weapons? Puh-lease! |

Ha i love this little bugger. It doesn't matter if the armor is a touch light or lacks the ammo, this will utterly wreak any light mech the moment he gets into SRM range.
With 2 er mediums already there to open up some holes, the SRMs will finish the job easily. |

This second line mech is one of the best things in the world. Lots of guns but lacks armour. Course in light mech duels, having this many guns is your ticket to success because first hit usually wins.
Still like everyone else says the SRM 4s either need more ammo or this thing needs more armour rather than more launchers.
Its a slower scout mech, but it also would be a very very dangerous city fighter because if it can get close with cover it can unload on you like the sword of damocleas |

I suppose it's better than the original, but in all the wrong ways. There's too many launchers and too little ammo, for starters. Drop an SRM 4 for armor or ammo, depending on your preferences. And if it has endo steel, why doesn't it have FF armor? Seems weird.
A IIC Commando really ought to be mounting Streak SRMs. |
