The loss of two JJ´s is bad on this one and it has to come much closer to benefit from its impressiv firepower.
The reduction of JJ´s and armor for a machine that have to close to physical combat range to be effective will lead to a fast death. |

Another Assassin, this one the blacksheep of the family. It's worse than the previous ASN-21 in my view. They gave it some more close range sting for the backstab, but at the expense of the incredibly useful jumpjets rather than the somewhat superfluous LRM-5. Still, it can live up to the name if you managed to get it behind someone. Only issue is that getting behind someone is made harder by the lack of jump jets.
Armor got even thinner too, which is not something the Assassin could stand to lose. |

I have seen this in Duels, and loose. Never in scenario or campaign play. It does not have a real role in a lance unless it is with other Assassins and Jenners. The loss of 2 jump for 2 SL which you need to get into range makes no sense. If it was another ML then that would have been interesting.
GM- I have never used this Mech. |

Okay, let's assume that I drive a mech that heavily relies on mobility and has thin armor. Now if I lower the mobility and armor coverage to get me some weapons which are more suitable for a saloon brawl than for slug fest, would I be considered clever? I don't think so... It seems that someone wanted to mimic Jenner, but weapon choice was bad. |

Modifications made to the base model make this one suffer. the inclusion of the 3 SL's does not significantly improve its performance, while the loss of 2 jump jets and 1/2 ton armor affects it greatly in the long run. Looking at the weapons alone means that you could be lulled into believing it is an improvement. It is not. |
