Good speed and armor combined with a far reaching, heavy weapon would make that a dangerous foe but with that 11 single heat sinks it isn´t able to keep up the pressure.
It has even more heat problems than the 3050 Panther.
Switch to 10 DHS´s and add a half ton of armor and a CASE, which wouldn´t prevent your mech from being taken out of action but you´ll have something to pull from the field after the fight.
A second streak launcher would have been of more use than that AMS too to give it a stronger support up close and to make use of that 50 shots of ammo.

Using DHS will fix this thing tremendously. Otherwise its a panther with even more heat problems.
Streak 2 is also too light a backup, lasers would have being alittle better and remove ammo dependence. |

This would easily rate a 3.5 with double heat sinks. It could easily act as a scout hunter, long-range fire support, and even stand a chance against some mediums. With single sinks and somewhat light armor, it can't really keep up with top-notch mechs. It can,however, live up to it's name and finish off the wounded, harass the enemy, or pick off slower mechs using pack tactics.
It looks like it was rushed into production before being fully tested. Really, if you can afford an XL then spending a few extra C-bills for DHS should be a no-brainer. |

This is essentially a lightened Panther with an XL engine dropped into it. It could be useful in some situations, but it desperatly needs DHS.

Nice speed, but that's about it. The armor's good for the tonnage, but light 'Mechs really need max armor to survive for any length of time. The ER PPC is a good start, but the Streak 2 is light backup. Also, this doesn't have nearly the heat capacity to use that PPC, ever. Double heat sinks would really help with that. |
