Overview:
    Originally designed for the Star League Defense Force as Hollis Incorporated's first foray
    into the BattleMech field, the Catapult would prove a highly successful design over the next
    several centuries, even after the original manufacturing plant on Corey was destroyed during
    the First Succession War. At the turn of the millennium, however, Hollis was able to return
    the design to production on a limited basis after approximately three decades of only being
    able to manufacture limited spare parts, reversing the design's extinction fully, though by
    that point several variants of the basic design were in at least limited bespoke production
    across the entire Inner Sphere, and the original design would be superseded by advanced
    variants produced with recovered "LosTech" only a few decades later.
    
    The -6K is an advanced model used by the Draconis Combine which boasts a massive sixty tubes
    of medium range missiles split between each arm as its primary armament. A C3 slave unit is
    added to the head, which allows it to utilize its missile battery more effectively, and a
    Guardian ECM system is fitted to the center torso at the expense of two of the standard
    medium lasers. To regain some of its secondary firepower, a pair of Small Lasers are fitted,
    one in each side torso; an Extra Light engine and Ferro-Fiberious armor provide the
    necessary mass savings to accommodate the design's weapon load. 12 single heat sinks managed
    by a dedicated coolant routing computer are still not especially effective at managing the
    unit's heat generation, as the original plan called for ten Double Heat Sinks and standard
    armor, but the Combine was unable to produce sufficient freezers to keep up with production
    demands, resulting in the less effective configuration.
