Overview:
Developed mostly to keep pace with the Main Gauche in 3066, the AC/2 Carrier (SO) is
intended to provide highly accurate supporting fire in places that the Main Gauche, despite
tracks and a poorly utilized Fusion Plant, cannot go.
Capabilities:
The range of the UAC/2 matches the Light Gauss Rifle that outranges even the standard AC/2
that has served so well for centuries. A C3S allows networking to reach even farther. The
armor has been thickened and biased towards the front in the event it becomes targeted, and
HarJel helps it survive hits.
Deployment:
Because of the low C-bill costs for initial investment, it is usually a garrison unit in
hostile environments. The excessive maintenance of the UAC/2 frequently turns off
mercenaries who might consider it, but critical installations frequently ignore this...
