Overview:
    The IIS series are Inner Sphere mechs designed to mimic effective Clan designs as closely as
    possible

Capabilities:
    Unlike the first IIS design (Summoner Prime), the Horned Owl variant seeks to mimic its
    mission parameters while changing its loadout.
    
    At the cost of being slower, this IIS variant carries the maximum amount of protection
    available. The fusion engine adds to both its rugged durability and attractive cost of
    barely being over 4 million c-bills.
    
    The main purpose of utilizing a reduced power plant, however, is to maintain the firepower
    of the original. While the fearsome large pulse laser was reduced to a medium model, the
    arm-mounted pulses were switched out for a pair of snub-nosed ppcs. With the nature of their
    very design allowing them to sit comfortably in the arms, the streamlined non-threathing
    appearance was able to be maintained.
    
    Of course, being an Inner Sphere mech version meant that something had to be lost and in
    this case, the removal of Jump Jets is truly unfortunate.

Deployment:
    The loss of mobility has prevented the design from gaining front-line appeal but sales are
    brisk. This IIS is become quite popular with "Corporate Security" mech forces, able to
    fulfill most qualifications outlined by the "SecurityMech Treaty of 2613"
