Overview:
    Thanks to a deal with the Raven Alliance, D&K Creation Studios was feeling absolutely
    inspired in making this 'mech. Weighing at 70 tons standard and with a mixed tech approached
    between Inner Sphere and Clan technology, the Highwayman is mostly a new attempt at an
    omnichassis from a company that until recently was lacking in the creative juices to really
    create more than just refits of classic 'mechs used across the inhabited galaxy. With a
    running speed of 64 kph on a 280 rated standard engine, 11 engine mounted clan spec heat
    sinks, and twelve and a half tons of stealth armor on a clan spec endo-steel chassis, it
    should be noted that the chassis originally came to be thanks to tales of four notable
    mercenary companies and their storied histories. That is what leads to its armored cockpit,
    its compact gyroscope, its partial wings, and its stealth armor with head mounted ecm suite.
    The Highwayman is meant to be a successful omnichassis, yes, but it's also meant to be part
    of the living history of the Deadfire Tyrants, the Strange Bedfellows, the Borrowed Wings,
    and the Sly Headsmen.

Capabilities:
    The Highwayman Prime was created mostly with the intention to be a generalist brawler that
    can be kitted up in the usual omnimech time frame to fill in whatever gaps are spotted in a
    lance's lineup ahead of time, or as a way to get buyers invested ahead of time thanks to its
    ability to punch holes and harass regardless of ranges.
    
    Its primary armament is a combination of a right arm mounted Hatchet for melee distances and
    its left torso mounted Snub Nose PPC for longer ranged striking power in conjunction with
    being a closer ranged brawling weapon. Backing these weapon systems up are two ATM 3 systems
    fed with one ton of standard ATM ammunition as well as a ton of HE ammunition, all mounted
    in the left arm alongside a Small X-Pulse Laser to deter infintry. For supplementary
    firepower should the 'mech get into a good position, an Improved Heavy Medium Laser and an
    Extended Range Small Laser are mounted in the right torso, with a final ER Small Laser
    rounding out the loadout being mounted in the center torso.
    
    To try and take advantage of the hard mounted Partial Wing system, four jump jets have been
    installed onto the chassis, one apiece in the side torsos and two in the center torso. To
    try and keep the 'mech's heat curve somewhat manageable with its monstrous heatload in
    conjunction with its stealth armor, another heat sink was added to the chassis.
