This ´Mech is ..... erm. ... awesome! Advance slow, fire your PPC´s (3-2-3 you know), don´t worry about incoming fire and see your enemy run or die. If somebody gets into min range move next to him, give him 2 punches or a 16 Point kick and fire your can-opener together with your 2 torso-PPC (Hey, its easier as to shoot them at long range). A lance of them will strike fear into enemy 3025-´Mech-pilots hearts.

Firepower. The Awesome brings that single word to the lips of every 'Mechwarrior across the Sphere, I think. It isn't pretty, with its blocky look. It isn't nimble, and there are better armored designs. But few machines mount the raw long range firepower of the Awesome, much less the ability to use it as relentlessly as the Awesome does. The Awesome is little more than a somewhat mobile bombardment platform, and should be used thusly.
And always remember the standard Awesome patterns: 3,3,2 if standing still; 3,2, if on the move.
Mmm, three head crackers. I love this design, with the only thing against it really being the slow speed. But I can deal with that.

The Awesome is simply a killer. Easy to use, tough and extremely dangerous. It isn't without faults, but three PPCs simply don't need a perfect machine. This 'Mech may serve as a definition of assault battlemech class and clearly shows why the 'Mechs dominate the battlefield. This 'Mech should be fielded sparingly, or it will push many other models out of the field.

One of the best designed Mechs ever. Seen in a bunch of Duels, were it is above average, in a lance, just dominates the game. The only option for the enemy is to close quickly, for at range it will shred you, which is why it is not super effective in a duel. Easy to learn how to run it and manage heat issues.
GM- Like all assaults I use sparingly. Players have no idea if to concentrate on this Mech or avoid it. Survives often but if it does not, usually becomes prime salvage.

this is the best awesome varient I have seen. the other vareints just compare to the original. you have very little heat build up. excellent fire power. what else can you say about it other than it's very well designed mech. 5 out of 5.
