Overview:
What should have been a simple upgrade to a beloved design, ended up costing over twice the
c-bills then the original. The model was scrapped but the design was implemented through
refits due to the simplicity of the change from a private backer for his own forces.
Capabilities:
So what does twice the cost get you a tank that costs under 1 million c-bills?
Over 50% increase in armor and 50% endurance for a superior and more versatile LB-10X.
Recognizing that the new model and the crew are both investments, a CASE system was also
installed, further pushing the idea of quality(crews) over quantity, instilling a greater
sense of loyalty and duty.
Deployment:
The new Gladius' have been deployed within the mercenary cohort of Senator and Legatus,
Donovan Luong's forces. Due to the personal nature and secret funding, no one outside knows
of his upgrades, giving his forces an unseen edge that helps to perpetuate his growing
status and clout.
