Overview:
    Created in 3114 to be a scout 'mech for its heavier lances or to lead scouts of lighter
    weights, the Hogweed is designed around its Bloodhound Active Probe and head mounted TAG
    system to allow it to detect its enemies and then spot them for artillery systems to batter
    them. Built on an endo-steel chassis and powered by a 240 rated extra-light engine to allow
    the 'mech to reach speeds up to 97 KPH, thi was deemed acceptably fast by designers. To help
    it further in its roles, six jump jets were mounted to allow for the 'mech to leap up to 180
    meters for the best movement options.

Capabilities:
    For its main armament it has a triplet of MML 3s, chosen to allow for the best split fire
    opportunities at the lowest cost for weight, fed with an admittedly meager two total tons of
    CASE II protected ammunition. To further back these weapon systems up, a spread of a triplet
    of medium x-pulse lasers were mounted as well, to allow for accurate fire after jumping.
