So that happens when ComStar gets its hands on an Avatar!
The PPC/UAC combination gives it good firepower at longer ranges while the single ER laser can support them at medium ranges. The UAC has sufficient ammo and heat is no real problem (maybe even a bit oversinked for my taste). The left torso CASE is totally wasted here (the curse of fixed equipment that is not always useful) but the electronics are not! ECM gives it an edge on todays battlefields and the C3i works good with the main weapons. |

An all right config, but not the best. This will do well enough whereever you put it, but it won't do anything very well. This one isn't really built around the C3i, and it should be. It doesn't have real great long ranged weapons, and doesn't have real great short ranged weapons. Nor does it have a real mix of the two. Dropping the C3i would free up some tonnage to make this more effective. |

Once again, not a real Avatar. Ironically, despite the XL engine the weapon loadout really is not much better than the original versions. |

Yet again an upgrade mech falls short of expectations, over reliance on the C3 limits its usefulness, although it does pack a powerful arsenal. |

Once again, Comstar gets thier grubby paws onto a mech and makes it totaly dependant on the C3i. Granted this mech can work fairly well by itself, but it needs other mechs to provide some long range fire. One ER PPC isnt going to keep this mech covered. And why did they keep CASE in the right torso when theres no ammo there? |
