Not bad until you look at the armor. It can withstand a PPC hit or two, but as soon as you see the enemy, you should be already half way out of the field. Speed offers some protection, but mine fields and ambushes may negate this unless the BAP locates the enemy first. The MASC may be interesting, but this 'Mech really needs some armor, or you'll have to use the salvage vehicle to get the data back. Usable, but the lasers are more for show than for fighting, it's good that there is no XL, it would kill the 'Mech, because the designers would probably install weapons and EW equipment instead of armor ; ) |

The change from a flamer to a BAP makes this a premier scout but the massiv reduction of armor protection to get a dangerous MASC wouldn´t help it!
Replace the MASC with armor and i will give it a 3.5 to 4.0. |

Dump the MASC for armour. maybe drop its speed a notch to add more armour and you've all of a sudden got a scout that will survive a foot rifle platoon shooting at it.
As it stands a large laser can get lucky and cockpit your pilot in round one. Which means every ranged gun in the game has a one hit kill propensity which is never good. |

Serious downgrade here, dropping armor for a MASC system is just plain insane. Its a very fast mech anyways. The probe is a nice addition however. |
