Thanks to new rules the value of this 'Mech was somewhat improved, but the time knows no mercy. This 'Mech becomes quickly obsolete and it's only saving grace on the field may be that 3050 didn't see much offensive action from IS side, so the speed is not that important. I'll call this average speed, but that doesn't mean that I'm satisfied with it. MLs and LRMs are still good and there is some extra protection that can keep the 'Mech kicking to the bitter end. Umm, this may come sooner than you think. Keep this in good sniping nest and annoy the enemy, slowly retreat, or hide a few Fireflies in a city, forrest, or other similar terrain and use them to launch indirect fire attacks. If anything falls to this nest it will feel a lot of stings. Useful, but not without faults.
I give it a three because of it's defensive value, in defensive it would get 3.5, but if you use it in offensive, the rating should be around 2. |

Yet another "AMS-upgrade"!
No real improvement over the -4A but much unused custom-potential.
Less dangerous due to the reduced firepower but with somewhat increased survivability (if the enemy has missiles!).

Its an improvement over the 4A but not by much. This mech needs to drop the AMS and LRM for SRMs and/or heat sinks to boost its knife fighting potential.
Other than that its nothing really special and many 3050 designs out strip it. |

AMS system is a joke with such small amount of ammo, CASE is a nice upgrade, but speed still sucks it badly. The jump is just a low down dirty shame. |

Well, they got rid of the small lasers at least. This mech still needs a faster engine, better armor and DHS. Trade up to those as soon as you can, or this mech is just waiting to get kicked in the crotch. |
