Good vs battle armor, that is for sure ! 3 ER mediums and 1 LB-10x fitted with a cluster ammo will rip those battle armor troops a new one. The firepower is a bit light for the medium class (a bushwhacker carries an ER large and an AC-10, that alone weighs more than this Men Shen variant weight in weapons, and not counting the Bushwhacker's secondary weapons either) but for a heavy scout, it is alright.
And good enough to take out lights as well. |

This configuration is not bad but also not really good.
The LB10-X is a good main weapon and is supported by a bunch of ER lasers.
Nothing special so far. |

Looks like a forward spotter or a raider. A skirmisher for definite, though. Looks fairly quick for a medium mech, with the MASC tossed in for good measure, it seems. The DHS are adequate, and should handle the heat output of this thing, barring direct hits from Infernos, that is.
The weapons array is geared towards mid and close range fights. The LBX is nice, but doesnt have the range to match LRMs or ER PPCs or Gauss. As it stands, this mech is going to take one round, maybe two, of fire before it can shoot back. While the armor on this thing is beefy, taking two rounds of abuse isnt something that will agree with this mech.
Again, a definite skirmisher, particularly for urban, forest, or other close terrain. |

Didn't they already design this and call it an upgraded Centurion?
Hardly worth spending the Capellan Confederation's limited resources on. They should stick to the Vindicator. |

Kinda a mixed bag here, it seems like a Medium trying to be a light and a heavy at the same time. Good weapon loadout if a bit short ranged. Alot of interesting electronics, the BAP helps its role as a scout/spotter, the TAG gives it spotting and targeting for artillery and the MASC is always useful when in a tight spot, enough heat sinks to use any combination effectively and good armour makes this one of my favorite strikers. Would be very useful infront of a assault or company with artillery assets. It has obvious benefits in a campaign scenario. It is a little bit pricey, but electronics and specialist equipment always is. Something to consider when the Raven is a bit to light. |
