This is the single most silly and/or redundant configuration of the whole lot. I loathe any “H” configuration which simply swaps out some ERLasers for Heavy Lasers – most of them will not work. The Stormcrow H does not; neither does this Kit Fox. There is nothing the HML offer that the ERML of the A do not do as well or better. At least that configuration can attempt to stay alive until it brings all of its weapons to bear at medium ranges. I do not rate the H’s chances of doing the same at close ranges very highly. At all. |

This mod forces its target to make a hard choice. Either stay at long range and get pummeled by the gauss rifle, or move in close and get chewed up by the heavy lasers.
At close enough range, the lasers actually deal more damage than the gauss rifle!
An interesting companion for the Kit Fox A model, and when mixed in a star, could prove devastating. |

Combine two distinct ideas and all of a sudden you have a mech that fights like two different mechs.
First while the Guass Rifle, has ammo. As a ranged skirmisher. Then it goes in close and mucks about with the Heavy Mediums.
Stick with the ranged profile or stick with the close in profile. Both on a light mech isn't really workable. |

Weird config, somewhat contradictory. The Gauss is good at long range, but the heavies are short ranged, meaning you abandon the long range advantage of the Gauss to use them. And while the heavies deal good damage, they're not quite good enough if you wait until the Gauss is out of ammo.
I don't suppose anyone thought this one through, but this could've been pretty good if they had. Simple solution. Lose the Gauss for an LB-20X. No one expects AC20s on 30 tonners, and you can crush anything your size. Keep it in cities or forests of course, but no scout will long survive an encounter with an AC20. |

This mech is slow and has weak armour .The guass rifle has a good long range thump, but the twin are dangerous up close but the mech has to close the use them. |
