The only "Loser" configuration of the Warhawk. Someone had a brain fart, or was just trying to cram something new out to fill the TRO. |

This mech makes me want to turn the record sheet upside down and see if it makes sense that way.
The chassis is standard, nothing new, there.
The weapons make me go "what were they thinking?"
Gauss rifle, targeting computer. Standard combination. Nothing fancy about that. Ditto with the lasers.
Whats got me wondering is the NARC and standard SRMs. If youre that desperate for a hit, rip out the NARC and go with streaks. You wont have to worry about heat, and you could probably afford to shave off a few tons of ammo, as well. Thus freeing some space for more beam weapons.
This is a machine that the Clans built, but its also one that got discarded because of its missiles.
Sorry guys, no thanks. |

Take a uber powerful munchy clan assault. Pull off all its good weapons. Add a bunch of non heat producing weapons to a massive heat sink mech.
Proceed to watch scout mechs rip you apart as you cry and run out of ammo for all your cool toys. |

This one is just silly. There was bad editing in the original TRO, but they didn't fix it in the record sheets, they compounded all the problems:
Adding a small laser, just to bring that targeting computer up to 4 tons.
The NARC has 6 shots. The Gauss 16. Each SRM launcher has 37.5!!!!!
Once the Gauss is gone, this design is left with, effectively, 3 ML and 2 SRM6. Not very scary, right? |

This just does not have the ability to really reach out and hurt somebody that the I expect out of a Clan assault 'mech. The NARC does not make much sense either; I'd rather have Streak SRMs. |
