An alpha boat, but you can bet my money that most lights will be crapping themselves from 1 alpha of this monster. Good missile rack size and the ER L will leave big holes on mech's 40 tons and below. |

Well, well, well, what do we have here? A Commando on steroids? I agree with Daphne about the SRM launcher size, but I don't get the comments about weak armour. It's nine points under maximum, it can withstand a clan medium laser hit to rear armor and an AC/20 shell won't disarm it, so where's the problem?
The concentration of weapon systems in arms may cause some trouble, but it's a common practice with clan designs. The B configuration has a nice mix of weapons that won't make any opponent happy, especially if he fields conventional units, since Ice Ferret B newly gained the ability to deal with the infantry as well. I think that this is the configuration that A wanted to be and it's also one of those that uses full heat sink potential, but I'm not sure whether this needs to be an alpha-boat. With this configuration it's hard to perform bad if you try to avoid stupid mistakes. |

Use this little dude as an inner city harraser, darting between building and chipping away armour with flurries of missiles and concentrated laser fire. As long as the dice roll doesnt go seriously againts you. You will hole enemy armour fairly quickly, then the srms really come into their own. At a push you can drop mechs up to 75tons. After that you might want to try an orderly retreat. The armour is to thin to fight big guns. |

As a light scout hunter this mech excels but to fight larger designs you pretty much need the streaks.
Otherwise this design is still pretty good. I just wonder how long thin armour will hold up against most opponents.
Still, its a commando with some kick ass firepower. Just never sure I liked that design to begin with. |

The SRMS could easilly be changed to dual strek 4s with a single ton of ammo (all you need with streaks) other than that this mech fits the laser/srm combo role very well. |
