Overview:
Desiring a fast tracked infantry fighting vehicle to pair with their Enyo Strike Tanks, Clan
Hell’s Horses scientists pulled inspiration from one of the Inner Sphere’s most
effective of such designs; the Goblin Infantry Fighting Vehicle. The resulting Goblin IIC is
very similar to the Enyo in capabilities, with the addition of being able to transport a
point of infantry. This means that units that pair the two together may loose some missile
firepower, but gain heavily in infantry assets.
Capabilities:
Like its predecessor, the Goblin IIC pairs a large pulse laser with a 6 pack of short range
missiles, but being streak missiles, every shot counts. As the standard Enyo also mounts a
large pulse laser paired with Streak-6 racks, this eases logistics for the clan. The Goblin
IIC can also keep pace with the Enyo as both tanks can reach cruising speeds of some 60+ kph
and flank speeds of almost 100 kph. A pair of anti-personnel Gauss rifles can take out soft
targets and aid against harder targets as well, and an anti-missile system helps protect
clan assets.
Deployment:
Thanks to this new design, Novas of tracked vehicles and infantry assets are being created
and sent into the battlefield alongside standard OmniMech Novas in cavalry units.
