Underrated. If you're using BV this is the perfect mech to bring as a cheap Clan fire support option. My friends and I love this mech whenever each of us play clans. It's an IS Archer packed into a 35 ton chassis at more speed to help run away from anything heavier than a light mech.
(Though if you're playing with C-bills then I would definitely recommend the Prime variant) |

Adder A can work well as firesupport. With 6/9/0 speed and two LRM-20s it's pretty dangerous. Small pulse lasers are nice as a defensive weapon, but the 'Mech lacks protection against armored targets. At least the 'Mech has a reason to leave the field when it runs out of ammo. It would be a good 'Mech to exploit holes in enemy lines or to add more weapons to crush approaching enemy. This way it would be safe behind the line before it is needed. |

For missile support this mech matches most Heavy IS mechs, but lacks any decent in close weaponry without changing the pulses for ER mediums.
Its a dangerous design when kept near ammo binned J-27s but other than that, its just like every missile support mech. |

Makes a nice light support mech. LRM15's would have been better as the mech could mount Artemis. |

I would have preferred LRM-15s and more energy weapons, but hey. In a support role it isnt too shabby at all. And since clan LRMs have no minimum range they can be used in defense also. |
