Actually closing to range almost doubles this mech's firepower- quite a bit more than 30%. With a standard engine, energy weapons, tons of armor and a hefty chassis this mech can soak up immense amounts of damge- and deal the same. It's firepower is no better, however, than what many heavies can muster- and at a higher speed. 90 ton mechs give up a lot to move at 4/6. This one is good, but still a little less firepower than I like to see in a Clan omni. |

Pretty good. But not the best Ive ever seen.
THis mech does make an ideal sniper. The twin PPCs can kill light mechs, and most medium mechs with one salvo.
Closing with the mech brings 4 more weapons into range, a dubious prospect at best, as this mech can then deal an additional 30% damage. |

While I'll admit this is effective, I can't really defend it as being an interesting 'mech to use. |

Yeah baby, this is the variant to use! "What? Only 2 PPCs and 4 ML?" I hear you ask.... Well, look at the heat sinks. That is where the pod space has gone!
Capable of churning out 58 damage in relatively few locations without using ammo or breaking sweat, while being as tough as anything, this beast is fearsome. |
