Kingfishers work best as energy heavy designs, otherwise all that DHS goes to waste. It already has limited pod space so energy weapons are the most efficient.
This design while efficient it is not the best among them. The LB-10x and smallish energy weapons are great for anti-BA and infantry work though, while the ERPPC provides that slight long range backup. |

The huge number of heat sinks and limited pod space scream out for energy weapons- not autocannons. This is undergunned and over heatsinked at long range- even an alpha-strike at point-blank range barely nudges the heat meter up one point. Great in the middle of a forest fire, but otherwise not an efficient use of pod space on a mech that doesn't have much to waste. |

Like all Kingfishers, the firepower is light for it's mass. This would work in a heavy lance though; I'd rework the lasers though and try and mount Streak SRMs. |

Fair to middlin on this mod. The ER PPC and LBX work together fairly well, with the cluster rounds weakening the targets armor overall, and the PPC looking for the resulting weak spots.
If it were me, Id pull the small laser, and see if I can strip out the SRMs and use the room from both weapons for some kind of Streak system. I like to hit what Im aiming at. |

Not bad, but not really my cup of tea. Weapons are a bit gritty and heat sometimes lets it down, good armour but could really do with stripping away the 3 lasers for something a bit more organised, like 3 er mediums and a bit of heat or armour. |
