The heat management on this can quickly become a nightmare if the pilot doesn't know how to restrict himself. There is enough firepower to make up for the hatchet and the heat sinks can be kept busy with ease (0.5 point awarded for the small laser, because the can opener is usually the point of heat needed to stay on 9). The hatchet is a fearsome weapon on it's own. Coming close to a jumper with 6 MLs and TSM augmented hatchet is clearly a bad idea, which makes the protector role much easier. If there is anything to criticize then I'd like it to have thicker rear armour, because it's likely to be a target of flanking attempts.
For Kuritan variant I'd recommend sword and C3. For certain reasons the Hatchet is unpopular in Drac space. |
