A nice little design, it certainly packs a effective but low heat punch with its UAC-5 and the decision to use FF for case is very sound.
Even with 10 regular HS the mech will still fare well since most of the weapon generate low heat. |

An easy upgrade that can be done on older -3S machines without much haedache. It will still be usefull in a time where all Houses tried to pack their mechs with that new equipment.
The change to FF armor to get CASE is a good decision. The Streaks deliver some less damage but keeping the heat low is much easier now. The original AC-ammo bin is large enough to support even an Ultra version without running dry in the middle of the battle as many upgraded Ultra-AC equipped mechs do.
All in all its a nice linemech with a plausible history that will serve well up to the later 3050´s. |
