Overview:
    The Dire Wolf K is was pioneered by the Smoke Jaguars in response to the Combine's success
    in close quarters at the battle of Wolcott and the need to have a standard configuration
    prepared for urban counter-insurgency operations.  Few chassis are more suited than the Dire
    Wolf to close-quarters urban combat.

Capabilities:
    Bristling with weapons, the Dire Wolf K is outfitted with equipment that is standard for
    urban combat.  A large bore autocannon provides stopping power against almost any opponent.
    An ECM suite was included to counteract the only technological advantage possessed by Clan
    Smoke Jaguar's opponents, the C3 computer.  A pair of ER PPCs ensures that the Dire Wolf K
    will be able to defend itself in more open terrain as well.  The extended range of the PPCs
    is also useful in sweeping long boulevards.

Deployment:
    The Dire Wolf K was developed prior to the battle of Tukayyid, but it did not begin to see
    common use until after that battle.  Several revolts in occupied cities were put down with
    the use of the Dire Wolf K, and the design is also used when Dire Wolves are deployed to
    defend objectives in cities, or other close quarters.
