Overview:
    Built on the planet Khyber for the 'Khyber Home Guard,' the Militia was built to be used as
    a filler mech much like the Stinger and Wasp.  A design whose sole purpose would be to
    replace mechs lost in battle until a more suitable replacement can be found.  A temporary
    replacement if you will. The mech is also cheap enough to field en masse or, as it's name
    implies, as a militia mech.

Capabilities:
    The ER PPC should allow it to help out any group it is assigned to and the medium provides a
    nice back up weapon.
    
    Lack of an XL with good armor has kept its survivability up and it's cost down which is a
    must for such a mech.
    
    For a light mech, it's speed and mobility is considered average at best but adequate for any
    filler mech as was it's predecessors.
    
    This mechs capabilities, though adequate, is not meant to be used alone.  And example would
    be its use as a militia design.  It can provide decent firesupport and it's hands allow it
    to help out in civil duties. On the other hand, the lack of anti-infantry weapons will hurt
    it badly, especially with riot control.

Deployment:
    Two companies of the new mech have been produced for the Home Guard.  This brings the number
    of the Guard to 32. (Eight Barrages and 24 Militias) Additional units are also slated for
    production and nearby planetary neighbors/powers in the Chaos March have shown a sleight
    interest in the design.
