Overview:
With increasing status and wealth, Clan Snow Raven has found both the funds and the need for
revamping some of its older heavy omnimechs. The Hellbringer, in particular, was chosen as
an inefficient mech in dire need of an upgrade. Although the touman was impressed with the
Hellbringer?s firepower, the poor armor shortened the mech?s lifespan below what field
commanders considered acceptable. Snow Raven scientists were charged with replicating the
firepower of the Hellbringer, but also to reduce its cost and mortality rate.
The result was a slightly smaller, but heavily armored omni that bears a superficial
resemblance to the original design. The designers auspiciously designated their new omni
the Cairn-Maker, after the ancient pathfinders and monument-builders of the Terran Arctic.
Clan official hope this new design will live up to its name by leading the way to a powerful
new ground force for the Raven touman.
Capabilities:
The Prime configuration is optimized for heavy ranged combat. With three large weapons, and
a massive cooling system, the Cairn-Maker has the ability to snipe indefinitely. At short
range the firepower is less impressive, but the two medium lasers provide adequate close
support for most missions. The prime configuration also shows evidence of lessons learned
since the invasion: an all-energy load-out, maximum armor, and a preponderance of long-range
weapons.
Deployment:
Fewer than a dozen Cairn-Makers have been produced; all of which are currently undergoing
extensive field testing in Snow Raven frontline units. If this testing continues to be
successful, the Cairn-Maker is expected to become the Ravens? standard heavy omnimech within
five years.

Comment:
A dangerous beam boat as it can fire both PPCs and the large laser without overheat. That puts enemies under constant pressure while the 'Mech can withstand some damage coming back.
An Omni can't have arm actuators and hands when it's arms are equipped with PPCs or ACs and according to the fluff it's probably 3055 (+) design. It resembles a Cauldron-born a bit too much : (
