Overview:
    Looking at ways to rework the unpopular SV-1 Salvo, DCMS designers took feedback from
    commanders and installed jump jets capable of pushing the Mech 120 metres. To make way for
    this, the unreliable MASC was removed and the MRM 40 system replaced by 3 MRM 10 racks with
    two tons of ammo.
    
    
    
    A medium laser was also added to give the pilot a weapon even if it ran out of MRM
    ammunition.
    
    
    
    Heat venting ability was also enhanced with the addition of double heat sinks.

Capabilities:
    The SV-2 Salvo moves at the same speed as its ancestor but replaces the MASC that gave it
    additional bursts of speed with jump jets that allow it to leap from cover.
    
    
    
    Additional ammo for the MRM also gives it greater endurance.

Deployment:
    The new Salvo is being manufactured at a slow place and is being issue to units whose
    commanders had complained most bitterly about the original.
