Bladewind has it perfectly.
I'd like to emphasize the poor placement and the uselessness of the CASE on this design. CASEing the CT is bad enough, bad double-CASEing the CT? And having ammo in the arms on a 'Mech with CASE? What? And Guardian ought always to be in a torso.
I'll also mention the armor. The armor on this 'Mech is much too weak for something of this size, especially something with an XL. |

The weapons look good... on paper. Everything else falls apart around it. The weapons don't have heat sinks to use them, fluff, 3050 era, double CASE in CT, ... |

Bladewind's got it down pat.
I should also point out that there' already a design called the Guan Yu. It's a 95 ton Omni i came up with. It pays to check through the name first.
And yes it's a Cappie Mech.
This design stinks of just plain sloppiness, it can't handle its heat, it's full of equipment which is either useless or clashes with other bits that it carries.
The designers wouldn't even be able to get this past planning. |

Even if you lay aside all fluff-mistakes this Mech has way too much weapons for it´s heatsinks!
Firering one weapon with activated stealth or two without stealth will get you overheat even if you don´t move! And CASE in the CT is absolutely useless!
Please rework it!!! |

Not wanting to sound like an arse but this is definitely a very badly done mech. Not in House Liao's reach, definitely not in the 3050.
The tech is all wrong for instance.
MRMs and Stealth armor come much much later, at least in the 3060s. The other flaws I will explain 1 by 1.
1) MRMs are dumbfires, they aren't homing so NARCing doesn't help and MRMS are clearly DCMS tech.
2) With Stealth armor on, you are running 10 heat per round standing still, your DHS dissipates 20 and can safely dissipate 10. Firing 1 ERLarge laser puts you 2 points over which isn't bad but you are basically stuck with firing only 1 of your 4 main guns per round STANDING STILL if you wish to stay cool in stealth mode...
I suppose the negative range mods of the Stealth can force the enemy to get closer, so you can let loose an MRM volley safely which is ok i guess.
3) The 2 CASE in the CT is an utter waste. If the MRM ammo just explodes, it will devour your arms and side torsos like nothing.
If you had CASE at the side torso and the ammo stored in the sides, at least the mech is salvagable if the ammo blows but now you wasted 200, 000 C-bills for doing absolutely nothing.
Also did i mention that 360 rated XL engines are definitely not in the reach of Cappies in the 3050s ? What is the C3 for ? C3 systems are not compatiable with ECM and Stealth armor too.
The armor of the mech is pretty thin too. Granted 15 tons is nothing to laugh at, but the mech is running with an XL engine aka Glass Jaw. The protection of the XL engine (which cost 10 mil easily for assaults) should be a high piority, so maxed armor is ideal.
Sorry, but I have to be very harsh on this mech. Its got the timeframe, House tech tree wrong and cost a bomb to accomplish something so little.
And God forbid for using this poorly thought design bearing the name of one of China's best known heros who is respected by all Chinese all around the world.
This one gets one massive thumbs down from me.
