Wow, this mech almost screams "Ice Hellion". Even without the fluff.
Light, fast, with limited combat weapons, but excellent EW gear.
The armor wont keep the big guns out, but should deter the smaller caliber weapons.
A pure scout, plain and simple. |

Good speed and the long jumping ability give it great mobility. The six pack of ER Small lasers gives it decent damage potential and the Electronics package makes it a premiere scout. I like the fact that it can alpha strike and do a full jump with out overheating. |

The reduction in range doesn't bother me too much. This mech is a scout and the weapon load "encourages" the mechwarrior not to get too cocky.
Now that is a good thing. |

A very good scout but not as usefull as the IIC. A small reduction in speed and mobility brings it in reach of lots of other Lights. The armor is beefed up but I think Spiders are build for speed and not for armor.
It´s firepower is doubled but the reduction in range would be dangerous cause it has to get much closer! |
