Everytime I see a fast jumper... I think of Spiders. Then I realise that you guys have once again used a different chassises.
The Stinger isn't all that great in this case. You've spent a great deal of money on a mech that doesn't do much more than a stock spider does.
The fluff and interesting idea of a college student body being able to afford a multi million c-bill repair project makes it worthy of the odd point boost though.
The armour is too thin, the weapons are short ranged and force you to abuse your thin armour in a fight... which will be lethal.
Maybe as a solaris dueler it might have a hope. |

I like the fluff and I understand how the mech was concieved which is high marks in my book. The speed and jump is nice as well but I myself would never like to use one. The light armor and XL make it more vulnerable than I would like. Plus, I feel as though the smalls should be replaced with something different but that's just, my preference. Overall a nice idea but one I wouldn't use unless I was in a similiar situtaion as those students. |

Good speed and moderately high firepower.. but its armour is paper thin, just barely better than the Fire Moth's.
However, it does hold faithfully to the original weapon placement (if not the actual weapons) and can be a viable scout or backbiter. |

Nice speed and JJs, but I don't like too thin rear armor. Even MG fire can easily threaten your XL engine and STG-6X doesn't have anything to find enemy before it fires. This is too costly to risk loosing it on scouting mission, but as a striker, back-biter, or duel mech.. |

I like the speed and long jump not to thrilled about the thin armour though.A good upgrade would be to replace the pulse laser with a standard or ER the gain in range would offset theb decrease in accuracy which would only be apparrent at point blank range anyways.the weight saved could be used to increase protection.The weapon load is a little light but that is to be expected with all the jumpjets |
