This remake keeps original problems of 5R and adds some new. Shifting to ES turns it from field upgrade to factory refit, and there is still the ammo problem. Removing one ton of armor would at least increase the amount of reloads for RAC but the LRMs would use some ammo too (Dragon was known for having a lot of ammo). With installation of DHSs I can't see the reason why it doesn't have ER lasers. |

Your still short on ammo for your weapons, and have one medium facing each way to prevent your opponents from completely ignoring you.
Reminds me almost of the problems the Hollander has. Which isn't something you should be able to say about a heavy battlemech which is the pride of a nation. |

The extra armor helps quite a bit. But not enough to make me like the 'Mech. The armament is dangerously close to the Dork Age Legionnaire - a RAC on legs. (Wish I'd thoguht of that comparison earlier.) There's a canon light 'Mech with this problem too. |
