Overview:
    This is the Atlas C3 Lance Commander, it features a strong survivability mated to long range
    weaponry, and is useful in most RCT type units.
    
    
    
    Its relatively slow ground speed is part of the mystic of the Atlas as even seeing it coming
    really doesn't change much as you can't stop one even if you want to usually. It features
    standard engine and armour which makes up for a lot of other issues.
    
    
    
    This variant has been kicked around both at NAIS and in the Combine, but no one has acted on
    it and built one yet as its still a fairly pricy mech.

Capabilities:
    A Single C3 Computer is this mechs primary weapon even if it does no physical damage to
    opponents. The ability to coordinate a lancey is a common gift, but the computer that has
    been added to this design lets even an average mechwarrior run his assault mech easily and
    completely.
    
    
    
    Its ranged weapon set of a Guass Rifle, and the LRM 20 are uninspired but some thing had to
    be sacrificed to mount this kind of equipment. Like the Right hand, its gone to make space
    for the quad of ER Mediums the mech warrior needs to defend himself in close. Unlike the
    Company Commander variant, the lance commander variant has the space to add Artemis IV and
    paired Streak SRM 4 launchers with a ton of ammo.
    
    
    
    Also it mounts 19 tons of standard armour to go with its 5 tons of Endo Steel framework.
    This was a necessary evil as it was what got the mech all the way up to 13 heat sinks, as it
    only had 5 though an odd quirk of fate until those changes were made.

Deployment:
    Well none, unless you count the few simulators at NAIS that run this configuration to
    scare/test out the design. The Combine also tests this design with a single prototype, and
    seems vaguely impressed as it is much more versitile then the Company Commander model. Even
    at the expense of its ranged gear.
