Well, ... I should stop laughing and start writing. DH-L is quite effective urbie remake, but for city warfare flamer may be better than one of the lasers. I can't see any major problems with this, as long as it stays in built-up area. |

Overrated? I don't think so!
Dear Sir Erenon, I bow to you! Not only has this 'mech become a surprisingly effective urban combat machine, but....but....but!!!!
Rick Moranis....er....Roranis is going to be one heck of a happy pilot! |

I'm not impressed the fluff is about all that brings it up into contention for an average rating.
Given that his lance mates are Urbanmechs doesn't make sense as he fits better with the Vindicator these days.
Still a good story, and a half assed mech gets you a long way in my books.
Sort of a Wolfhound writ light. |

LOL!! Nice fluff twist. I enjoyed reading that one.
As for the mech, I like what you've done to the UrbanMech. You've increased it's speed and firepower. It runs much hotter now, but you've no ammo to worry about. The armor was also increased, though you over maxed it. Shoulda left it at 6.5 tons and gave yourself 0.5 tons to add something else, small laser perhaps? Overall I feel this can become a useful replacement for the venerable and somewhat cultish UrbanMech. |
