Much more close range firepower, but loses some long range sting. Armor upgrade made it usable even against high tech machines, but more ammo would help. And era is wrong, it's 3060 design. |

I agree that this is more the Grand Dragon feel. But still its an awesome well rounded standard engined design that can most likely match up favourably against all competition even in the later years of 3060.
I'd worry about the heat if I didn't know Kuritan warriors and they're commanders were semi-sucidal to begin with.
Biggest disadvantage is that this is as far as you can go and still have an effective mech. Its out of upgrade paths but still servicable. |

The MRMs make this dragon more of a close range threat than the original was. The increased armor gives the 'mech some increased longevity, or at least the same amount it enjoyed before advanced technology drastically accelerated the rate at which 'mechs can inflict damage. I'd think this would qualify as a Grand Dragon, as it carries a PPC instead of an autocannon. |
