The gauss and the artemis enhanced LRM rack are dangerous long range weapon while the lasers and streaks can make short work of enemies softened up by the big guns. Heat isn't really an issue here. Lots of ammo keep it in battle longer though the distribution of that ammo seems a bit funny. |

I agree with Seraph, the lasers facing rear should have remained in thir positions and the fluff is really nice. Loosing the AC isn't that bad, a GR can make big holes too and streaks can easily hit and widen them once you are in AC range. If you are afraid of ammo dependency then the SRMs can be replaced with ER large lasers, but the mech is good as it stand now. |

I like this variant, and the fluff.
It's a little ammo dependant but its got lots of character. LRM and Gauss combo makes for a nice long range punch (though this can be matched by many newer assault mechs).
Short range is where this assault really shines. Twin streak sixes and 4 med lasers are a killer. That said not having weapons in the rear arc means you need support.
I like the flamer, it has some interesting tactical uses and the fear effect is nice. |

I love the fluff!!
Good firepower and excellent armor coverage. Nice choice in weaponry. One thing though, I don't think the rear facing medium lasers should have been relocated to forward facing arcs. Now this mech has a blind spot. Not a good thing on such a slow mech. Also why not mounnt 2 small lasers in place of the flamer? Or another medium? Other than that, I like this. It can still overheat but it's managable. |
