Overview:
This is, interestingly, a Clan WOlf design based on the Stalking Spider of Clan Cloud
Cobra.The Wolves doubled its weight and added a lot of long-range weaponry.
Capabilities:
3 Heavy large lasers and a Gauss rilfe are for the rnaged warfare this was made for.a piar
of Medium Pulse lasers and a small laser are its back up for light vehicles.
Deployment:
The first star of these were delivered to Iota galaxy early last year and a full trinary are
to be delivered to each of Clan Wolf's 4 Front line galaxies by next year.

Medium pulse lasers and a gauss rifle would be a good armament on a medium 'Mech, but 100 ton beast should be able to fire more. With single heat sinks you can use only one of your Heavy LLs and even then you overheat if you try to move while firing the GR and medium lasers. That's really bad enough to kill the 'Mech alone but that's not all. The GR is the only real ranged weapon here. So your other weapons are just a paperweight through most of the battle and even while in laser range there are eight tons left useless thanks to the poor heat dissipation. It's an armoured turtle, but it's jaws are too weak.
The fluff was probably written without spelling check.

I'm really sorry to say this but I cannot believe any army, let alone a clan army, would field this design. I guess if you had nothing left or if you really wanted to treat your sohlomma units badly. Way to much heat, improper use of DHS/HS,because of all this, I disprove of it's current weapon mix as well. It gets points, however, for max armor. I'm a suxor for max armor on quad designs.

I'm going to assume that the desginer intended this to be a biped mech with double heat sinks. As it is, it looks like he accidently hit the wrong buttons on the design sheet (and would rate a nice, solid 0.0).
Even with DHS the mech has nothing even resembling good ranged firepower. The Heavy Larges aren't going to be hitting anything past 10 hexes, and since they are all mounted in the torso, twisting will be required to get a target into the front arc. Slow, non-jumping assault mechs are the worst platform for heavy short-range firepower. Only an idiot would park themselves right in front of a 100-tonner, and this design isn't going to catch anything faster than an oyster.

One thing.. designers please note... understand your rules...
Why the heck is this thing packing HS when it can easily accomodate DHS? You might argue that it's because it's a Quad.. i say bull..
As it is, it generates 64 heat when it fires a full energy salvo.. or 54 heat with its heavy LLs alone.. both circustances equal instant shutdown.. no questions asked..
Surely there was a better way to go about this wasn't there??
Long range firepower is pathetic, though that headchopper might get lucky.. the Heavy lasers do awesome damage but just suck at hitting anything (oh wait.. that's like MRMs...)
With a design like this, i see no way that Clan Wolf would waste its resources building this.

Personally I'd take a Mackie over it. This mech even with double heat sinks can't do anything in a real fight. It can only fire 1/2 of its weapons and I'm being charitable.
Its going to spend a lot of time shut down and thats going to get some warrior killed who would have been more useful to his clan in a better mech.
The armour is impressive but it desperately needs about 34 double heat sinks if its going to pull it off and I don't see where it can save 10 tons, especially on the quad design since it has no crits to place it on anyway.
Maybe with the removal of the Guass Rifle it could do it. but thats a big maybe.
Add in the fact that no design posted here should have spelling and grammar errors that blatant, and it makes a combination I see being silly.
