It has a nice Star League feel to it, despite the Light Gauss. Flawed, but not useless, seems to be their design credo. I like how the long range weapons complement each other, and it has some minimal firepower at all ranges. However, this isn't a fast mech- it will find enemies under its minimum range frequently. Those two medium lasers won't be enough to save it. The left torso looks a little dangerous and the two extra single heat sinks are odd- I'm surprised modern engineers didn't remove them for doubles, or just leave them off altogether. It reminds me of a Dragon, but with it's flaws I'd have to say it's less useful. |

Hyperion has good long range weapons, but LGR was available around 3060 and it's still mainly FWL equipment. heat sinks are quite sufficient for weapons installed and the mech can withstand a lot of punishment, but I would drop 0.5 tons of armor for CASE. Single MG is purely defensive and should be dropped, two lasers offer just minor backup for main weapons. |
