Pretty expensive for a second line machine but worth the money invested. With some work it may be transformed to another Executioner config. Great firepower and accuracy, strong armour and surprising mobility. All in all a powerful creation. |

Okay, XL engine, and too many heat sinks.
Not great armour for a heavy mech, and this is assault class with the vulnerable XL engine.
Its an okay weapons load out. Just I wonder how its useful. I just don't see it being really all that good even in Clan on Clan duels. |

The pedigree is obvious. A combination of PPCs and AC/5s though in this case there are two ER PPCs and an Ultra AC/5. Oddly, the small laser stays though that too has received an upgraded. Nice touch.
A good mech at long range that can put out an almost ridiculous amount of firepower (without overheating). Up close those pulse lasers (and the er sl...) can deal pain in sufficient quantities.
Oh and the best part. It jumps. |

I like this 'mech's load and speed. Like an Executioner on steroids. The small AC is unusual on such a design, but supplements the PPCs very nicely. The lasers add nice firepower over medium ranges, the small one makes the resemblance to the old Banshee more obvious. I also like the fact that it has both hands, meaning that it was in fact derived from the original Banshee and not the Steiner one, even though the doubling of the PPCs means that both design teams went along similar lines.
The reason that this design isn't awarded the maximum points, is that it is a hellishly expensive design, with all advanced technologies. There would be little reason to produce this next to the omnis. But as far as table-top performance goes, it is beautiful! |
