The "heatsinks-instead-of-MG´s" variant of the old PXH.
Still hot-running but now you can play around with your lasers without worrying to blow yourself up. |

It's a good mech and without the ammo there is nothing to threaten you (okay, you may still shut down your reactor, but ...). Of course that the mech can now fire much more, and do 7055 other things (no, I'm not going to name them), but I can't convince myself to give it higher rating. |

If you need the PXH for heavier combat, this is the way to do it.
Sure it still suffers from heat problems, but it IS mitigated somewhat and it doesn't have ammo to worry it anymore.
Still a good scout leader and/or hunter. |

The pheonix Hawk gets an above average rating because of how blistering fast it is for 3025.
This mech draws scout missions all the time with Wasps and Stingers and frequently is the reason your scout lance will survive due to its Large Laser and heavy armour.
Still I prefered the original rather than this because this just doesn't have much hope of balancing heat without pulling the majority of its weapons suite offline.
For 3025 especially this mech was fast enough and machine guns were a decent weapon especially if you ran a lot of scouting missions against the enemy. |

This is way better than the origianl design now that you don't have 200 rounds of mg ammo. no worrys about ammo explosions anymore. |
