I like this Arrow IV carrier on legs. Small and quite fast it will be useful in said terrain. It has only a short time to support it's front machines due to the small ammo bin and shouldn't get into a situation where it can use its laser anyway ;) |

I have a kind of soft spot for unconventional designs. This thing isn't cheap, but the Arrow IV cramped to a 35t chassis makes me a little nervous. This can find it's uses, but I'd prefer vehicles in most situations. I'll state the obvious - DON'T try to get in combat with this. |

Mounting this on a heavier chassis will simply do wonders. :)
Slow for its tonnage and pegged to ammo bins, use this expensive design if you can afford it and protect it. The speed is comparable to most late model medium and heavy mechs so use those as a shield instead. |

It's expensive, but being able to hot-drop your artillery support along with the rest of your 'mech force could be useful in some situations. I just wish it were a bit faster. This is going to be very easy to overrun. |

Unless its a seriuos problem to go with the cheaper Catapult, I can't see the point of devoting a whole chassis to one idea. Its lack of back up weapons make it in my mind a much worse design.
Add to the fact its lighter armour for an artillery mech and the XL expensive engine. I see more a boon doggle than a real god mech design.
Not sure who fields it really, or who would want to. |
