Increased weight is a down check it increases the cost and is not needed. Medium lasers are nice, but costly. Increased armor is nice but not needed. BAP is a waste, your in a city. If they have gotten that far they aren't shut down and it is doubtful that defenders wouldn't know what is attacking from scout reports. LGR is the wrong weapon for this mech; shorter range higher impact. It is low heat but that is all.
Overall I would rather hide in a agromech. |

I heartily endorse the other people who have ripped this design, and add the one extra heat sink that it does not need at all to the list of problems it has. |

For ten additional tons (-) it gained three tons of armor (+), two lasers (+), expensive electronics that are good for fast scouts, but not for slow city fighter (-) and gun that has minimal range and deals lighter damage (--). I doubt that something as slow will leave the city and wander to open terrain, where it will be destroyed, just to use the light gauss. |

Okay, reasons for me to dislike it.
Fluffed to be a House Liao design. Whom is a mortal enemy of the only producer of Light Guass Rifles.
Then we have the added tonnage something I've never really wanted to see in a custom.
Then it also features high tech scout mech electronics on a civil defence chassis thats very very slow.
Its just as slow as a standard Urbanmech.
Its main gun does even less damage now.
The reasons to like it.
Thick armour.
Two medium lasers.
This adds up to I'd rather have anything else. |

Well, at least the UrbanMech is supposed to be this slow. I think that the light gauss hurts this 'Mech more than it helps. By definition, UrbanMechs work in the close in environment of a city. The light gauss is long ranged and has good ammo per ton, but is light on damage. The long range will seldom be of use in a city, and the light damage makes this 'Mech less threatening. Overall, this isn't too bad, but it's not great either. |
