Overview:
    The P configuration of the Blood Asp was first deployed on 'Mechs captured by Clan Wolf in
    3062. Since then, the configuration has spread to the Star Adders, and from them to every
    Clan which uses Blood Asps. The Blood Asp P is a general configuration designed to do
    anything, anywhere, for as long as necessary.

Capabilities:
    The Blood Asp P is based on the Blood Asp's Primary configuration. Changing heavy lasers for
    ER lasers lets it run cooler, and changing Gauss rifles for ER PPCs and heat sinks lets it
    fight for indeterminate periods of time , with minimal overheating problems. The Streak SRM
    6 is removed completely in favor of heat sinks. The P's ECM Suite gives it protection from
    advanced targeting and sensor systems. The Active Probe helps ensure that the MechWarrior is
    not surprised, and is especially effective in urban environments. Also effective in urban
    environments are the jump jets, something that few other Blood Asp configurations possess.
    Although not helpful in formal Trials, the P variant looks very much like the Blood Asp
    Prime; in Melees or combat against the Inner Sphere, this likeness can be confusing to
    opposing 'MechWarriors.

Deployment:
    The Blood Asp P is most often deployed among the Wolves and the Star Adders. The Star Adders
    use it often because they have more Blood Asps than anyone else. The Wolves use it often on
    their few Blood Asps because they have a better understanding of the uses of an energy armed
    'Mech than most Clans do.
