Personally I would prefer to drop one heat sink for additional ammo, but even with those ten AC/20 shots the mech may be devastating. In cities it may be harassed by jumping foes, but still the AC will keep most mechs away and in the open you have to choose between letting the HBK close, and leaving the rest of enemy units alone for a while. This mech truly deserves a place among the classic mechs, as an iconic short range fighter. It's hard to avoid comparing the HBK with the other brawlers or thinking about what may happen if there is a HBK somewhere on the map. |

This mech is simple and brutal!
Keep it away from open terrain and it will shred enemies to pieces.
Put this in a lance with Enforcers or other mechs with ranged weapons for the best effect.

Put a lance of these into a city and watch anything trying to come in die. This guy is a big ammo addict so sticking him close to supply lines is a good deal.

Simple and effective.
Use it in the streets to give anyoen stupid enough to enter them a really bad day.
Used a lot like an urbanmech except that it does not have jumpjets, poorer range and alot meaner up close. |
