Overview:
    The Shogun was designed by Luthien Armor works to rectify the flaws in the design of the
    Tai-sho, with the intention of replacing it as the DCMS's primary command 'Mech for C3
    assault companies. While the Tai-sho was a good first attempt, its light weight and armament
    made it less capable of standing up to the type of damage an Atlas or Akuma is expected to
    survive. This often created a situation where the command 'Mech would be one of the first to
    fall, weakening the unit's coordination and making them more likely to take heavy losses or
    fail completely in their mission.

Capabilities:
    Weighing in at one hundred tons, the Shogun is designed to survive anything the enemy can
    throw at it, while still maintaining the company's C3 network. Two ER PPCs allow the Shogun
    to stay at long range and harrass the enemy while its subordinates close in to provide
    targeting data. Two ER medium lasers and two medium pulse lasers provide the close in
    firepower which the Tai-sho lacks, allowing the Shogun to defend it self if enemies get in
    close range. Twenty double heat sinks permit the Shogun to fire the majority of its weapons
    without overheating. An all enrgy armament ensures that the Shogun is not hampered by a lack
    of ammunition. Jump jets provide the manueveribility to let the Shogun get out of a bad
    situation, or to move to a better firing position.

Deployment:
    Shoguns are being dployed to the Sword of Light and Ghost regiments for evaluation.
