A straight forward upgrade that can easily be performed on existing Archers while keeping the StarLeague touch. The LRM's keep the same firepower and now have an almost exessive ammo-supply with life- and mech-saving CASE.
With its core systems being unchanged conversion of older Archers are easy and i don't think that DHS's would have been necessary. |

A very straightforward, no nonsense modification to a very useful mech.
Though the LRMs are downgraded, the addition of Artemis and CASE means that the mech still deals comprable damage to an LRM-20 model, while remaining somewhat protected from those pesky ammo explosions.
The additional ammo will let the mech provide more of a punch in combat, rather than raining missiles for a few turns, then heading back for reloads.
My only gripe is not going for DHS. Granted, I dont see this mech making many alpha strikes, especially with the range profiles of the two weapon systems, but it happens. DHS would let the mech drop two tons of heat sinks while actually improving the mechs cooling profile. |

Simple but elegant and quite effective upgrade. It doesn't risk running out of ammo so often and may maintain covering fire for other units without overheat even as it advances. Price tag is very nice, just like the durability, both thanks to limited use of advanced technologies. Easy to use and well fluffed. |

For those of us looking for missile support that can protect itself, in 3025. This is the mech to do it if you can get your hands on one. Its lost tech so its price is easily 3-4 times higher than your standard one.
But boy is it worth it. Things like this the SLDF could crush a lot of rebellions with.
Features superior in every way weapon systems. Well the quad laser system isn't too impressive but those are par for the course in missile boat defence. The thick armour and lack of a lot of high tech items makes it an impressive ride in any era. |

I have always liked the Archer and considering the time of production and how much this mech actually cost, I would love to field a few companies worth of them in my regiments. |
