Good, but highly dependant on ammo to be a true scout.
The SRMs are usefull against infantry, and lightly armored vehicles and mechs. Against anything with some serious armor, this thing can either hope for a lucky shot, or just turn and book it.

Seems overspecialized to me. Without any backup weapon this is just fast training target. I don't say that it's a bad idea, but avoid armored opposition at all costs. It's price isn't so high and as a scout it can work nicely.

Its good and almost average. But sometimes you take specialization too far. Only the Star League could afford to make something like this.
I could see them doing it too. Sure its not going to win an open field fight but for the star league they had the resources, and people to do something like this and have it work.
Its still below average because if it gets ambushed it can't do anything but book it and hope it doesn't get dead before hand.

Interesting, but still weaker than most other Locusts. I'm not sure that the SRM is the best weapon for killing infantry. Perhaps a trio of machine guns and a half ton of ammo; then again, that would make it useless against 'Mechs. As is, I'd use this in a completely different role. I'd load the SRM launcher with inferno rounds, and run around tagging Marauders, Warhammers, and other hot running 'Mechs; especially ones with ammo. This is especially effective in the age of single heat sinks. If the active probe were a medium laser and a small, or a medium and armor, this would merit a 3 or 3.5 in that role,.

This mech while fast and has a fair armour load has a horrably deficiant weapon load a single SRM-2 is nowhere near enough fire power for a mech.Against any real opposition this mech is badly minced mint flavored dog food,and of course there is no back-up to its weak weapon.So all in all this mech would be weak in its asigned role and toast if caught be any mech and most vehicles.
