Overview:
One of the inexplicable bureaucratic realities of the years after the Clan Invasion was the
AFFC's reflex level refusal of every OmniMech proposal put before it. This foolishness
continued even after the Lyran secession, even while the Combine built significant numbers
of OmniMechs; in fact, the Federated Suns only got a unique OmniMech when Duke George Hasek
used his own money to fund development of the Templar.

Since the end of the FedCom Civil War, one of Regent Yvonne's primary foci has been the
strengthening of the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns; part of this effort is to bring the
AFFS on par with the DCMS, specifically in regards to OmniMechs. To accomplish this, the
AFFS offered contracts to companies who could come up with OmniMech designs with minimal
research costs, and in a minimal amount of time. This resulted in several designs based on
older designs, most of which are considered signatures of the old Federated Suns. The
earliest of these was from Achernar BattleMechs, producers of the Enforcer.

The ENF7-O Enforcer is little more than an OmniMech redesign of the standard Enforcer
III. With the same speed and jumping capability as the ENF-6M, the ENF7-O is five tons
heavier, which gives it greater durability and the tonnage to mount equal weaponry with
    stronger armor.

The ENF7-O is only distinguishable from the ENF-6M by a slight increase in height and
slightly thicker legs (not considering the 'Mech's configuration). This and the fact that
the AFFS encourages MechWarriors to customize their Omnis ensures that the enemy can never
really be sure what an Enforcer is mounting.

Resurgent Davion nationalism and the Enforcer's status as a signature Davion 'Mech,
combined with the added benefits of adaptability inherent in an OmniMech, should ensure that
the ENF7-O remains in great demand by MechWarriors.

Capabilities:
The B configuration trades the primary config?s Ultra AC/10 for a Rotary AC/5 and a
Targeting Computer, while maintaining the same backup weapons. Three tons of ammunition keep
the ?Mech in combat for some time, and the lasers give it impressive firepower even when its
ammunition is depleted. Jump jets, speed, and the targeting computer make the ENF7-OB one of
the most dangerous ?Mechs to mount a rotary autocannon. This is the primary brawling/general
combat variant, and presses to the limit the technological advantages the RAC and Targeting
Computer bring to the Federated Suns.

Deployment:
With the first ?Mech having come off the production line in late 3068, ENF7-O Enforcers are
being distributed throughout the Federated Suns. Units currently receiving them include the
First Federated Suns Armored Cavalry, the Deneb Light Cavalry, the Crucis Lancers, and the
Davion Brigade of Guards. Future runs will go to the Avalon Hussars, the Syrtis Fusiliers,
and single units like the Kittery and New Aragon Borderers. Inexplicably, and despite the
fact that they have never been overly high in priority for receiving new equipment, the
Robinson Rangers field a large number of Enforcer Omnis.
