Just wait for first clanner to field Dire Wolf against this without checking what stands against him. The expression on his face alone would be worth enough to justify building this beast. The ammo load is really a little light for four RACs, but nothing will look well after being stuffed with six tons of AC ammo. Great fluff. |

Its a good design but suffers from lacking enough ammo to fight for long. By my calculation it has 7.5 rounds of death giving at which point you better have killed it or your meat. (4X firing)
It either needs better back up weaponry, or it needs more ammo for its guns. Its nice and cheap though and if it doesn't jam can provide you the IS version of the Hunchback IIC.
I love the fluff, but hate lightly ammoed mechs. So it'll only score slightly above average. |

4 RAC5 for munchy goodness, this is the definitive Fafnir for urban combat. Get upclose and unload all 4 RAC5s in 6 shot mode. If the RAC's dont jam, u will be dealing like 120 points of damage so basically anything standing infront of the fafnir will be filled full with about 1.2 ton of slugs.
Go easy on the 6 shotters. :D Downside is lack of real backup weapons and short range, keep him in the cities. |

I like this mech :-D
I'm a sucker for rotary ACs and anything that tosses in 4 of the babies gets my vote!
Also your fluff is brilliant.
On the downside this baby lacks range. It must be a member of a mixed lance, preferably with long range firepower. |
