Overview:
The ENF-1E is a unique Enforcer variant owned by John Marshall, a Leftenant in the 7th
Crucis Lancers. John's Enforcer was severely damaged during a Kurita raid on Marduk by a
Kurita Panther. Although Leftenant Marshall disabled the Panther, and took it as prize, his
own 'mech's autocannon was damaged beyond repair. Although the Leftenant was unable to
obtain a replacement autocannon, his brother, at the time a graduate student in 'mech
engineering at NAIS, was able to reconstruct the Enforcer's arm using the Panther's PPC.
Capabilities:
The ENF-1E is in many respect superior to the standard Enforcer deployed by House Davion.
The replacement of the PPC for an AC/10 means the 'mech is no longer hampered by it's
limited ammunition supply. The PPC also provides a superior range. The design of the
Enforcer imposed one major vulnerability on the new design. Due to the limited amount of
space available within the 'mech's torso, NAIS engineers have been unable to mount the
additional heatsinks required to fire the PPC without severely overheating the 'mech
internally. The additional heatsinks have been mounted externally to the rear of the 'mech.
Although this configuration makes heatsink maintenance quite simple, it also exposes these
heatsinks to enemy fire, thus enhancing the already significant vulnerability the Enforcer
suffers from the rear.
rules note: whenever the ENF-1E suffers a hit on the rear left or right torso armor, a
critical hit check is made. If the check succeeds, the critical hits are automatically
applied to the heat sinks in that area.
Deployment:
Leftenant Marshall's modified Enforcer continues to serve in the ranks of the 7th Crucis
Lancers. The conversion specifications are stored in NAIS archives, but no one has yet
produced a second ENF-1E, largely due to the heatsink vulnerability inherent in the design.

Comment:
Good 3025 refit. This can maintain fire for long periods of time without building up too much heat and front armor is traditionally strong. Weak rear armor is normal on ENF, but the 1E can survive longer, because there is no ammo to explode (externally mounted heat sinks make up for this a little).

Beautiful design here. You managed to combine a decent ranged weapons fire with the idea of the Enforcer line mech. Even keeping the armour rear deficencies.
I can't see the small laser being fired much, so its a mater of not firing the Large Laser every couple of rounds you skirmish against an opponent.
I love 3025 designs with character like this.

First off, great fluff man!
While maintaining the same damage potential of the original Enforcer, this one increases the overall range. Also the removal off ammo dependance makes this mech a good choice for action behind enemy lines or where there is no reliable supply lines. While able to fire it's two main weapons without overheating, firing the secondary weapon and/or moving can cause some heat buildup that will have to be watched. The heatsink situation this machine incurs only adds to it's "realness" and helps bring it to life as opposed to just nembers on the screen.
